The Kay County Amateur Radio Club supports the activities of the Amateur Radio ("Ham") community throughout Kay County and the North Central Oklahoma area including Ponca City, Shidler, Tonkawa, Newkirk, and Blackwell.
The Kay County Amateur Radio Club operates four open FM repeaters located in the Ponca City, Oklahoma area. If you are a licensed Amateur Radio operator, join us on the air! Our VHF repeaters are on 146.970 MHz (PL 88.5) and 146.730 MHz (PL 88.5).We also have a 440 repeater on 444.700 MHz (PL 88.5) as well as a DMR Brandmeister repeater on 444.750 MHz + 5 (CC1).
Club meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the VFW Post 1201, 2821 E. Prospect, in Ponca City. In addition, the club also holds a weekly net, open to all licensed amatuers, on the 146.970 Mhz repeater at 9:00p.m. every Monday night.
